Background of Xtreme Vortex
Activity Day is the dedicated activity provider run by Xtreme Vortex. Xtreme Vortex was founded in 2006 by Andy and Donna, two university students whom were both studying in their final year to obtain their degrees. It all started with a dream and a passion to do something different and the outcome of this produced Xtreme Vortex.

Since 2006 when Xtreme Vortex began, the business has been nurtured and grown into what it is today. We are proud of what the business has become and we will continue to offer quality products with an outstanding service. We pride ourselves on our professional approach to all our clients and we are always looking for new products as we want to keep providing you with great quality fun activities.
History
Since the very beginning in 2006 the aim and vision of Xtreme Vortex was to provide quality products for hire for all types of events while providing an outstanding service to all our clients. This aim and vision will never change.
In 2007 Andy and Donna both graduated from University with honours degrees. Four years of hard work had finally paid off. Andy graduated with a 1st class degree and Donna graduated with a 2:1 degree.
Between 2007 and 2010, Xtreme Vortex continued to grow. Andy and Donna had both graduated and their business was their full focus. New products were being added regularly and the dynamic of the business was really changing.
In early 2011 Xtreme Vortex was given a boost and support from Dragons Den’s Theo Papthetis by becoming a proud winner of SBS (Small Business Sunday). Each Sunday, business entrepreneur Theo Papthetis selects his favourite 6 businesses from the hundreds that tweet him, he then re-tweets these 6 favourites to his 200,000 (and growing) followers. Xtreme Vortex was picked on 8th May 2011 from the many businesses who enter for a re-tweet. Needless to say we were very excited and extremely grateful to be picked by Theo! It is a great feeling to know that a multi million pound business man noticed our business!
On a personal note as we all like a good story, 2011 also saw the founders of Xtreme Vortex, Andy and Donna get married after a busy summer season. The wedding was two years in planning, but that’s Andy and Donna’s perfectionism for you!
